6th Street Center Receives Generous Donation from The Discovery Shoppe

Discovery Shoppe volunteer Carla Bee (center) presented a check for $9,874 to YFC CEO Beth Parsons (Right) and YFC Director of Social Services Nancy Jorth (Left) to help our 6th street Center for Youth upgrade their commercial kitchen with a commercial dishwasher! This dishwasher will free up precious staff time from washing dishes so they can provide better service to our youth.

You can visit The Discovery Shoppe at 315 Flume Street in Chico. It is run 100% by volunteers and all proceeds go back into the community. In Fall of 2024, The Discovery Shoppe awarded over $135,707 to fifteen charities!
