Community Based Services (CBS)

Community Based Services (CBS) provides Specialty Mental Health Services in the environment that is most comfortable to the client and/or family: a school, community, home, or office setting.

How does it work?

You will meet with a specially trained clinician to collect information on how you have been feeling and the services you may need to overcome challenges in your life. Based on this assessment, you will create an individualized treatment plan with your clinician to identify your goals. You will meet with your treatment team (a clinician and a mental health rehabilitation specialist) for individual, group, and/or family services. Based on the completion of these goals, you and your clinician will determine when services should increase, decrease, or end.

Who is eligible? What are the benefits? How long does it last?

CBS serves youth referred by Sutter Yuba County Behavioral Health with full scope Medi-Cal.
